At times we get hurt and heart broken. We learn from the mistake and find good memories to fill the hole left. It's healthy to speak it out and just try and move on as quickly as possible. For the past, many dwell, they forego the happiness in their future and let anger consume them, their time, their life, the happiness they are suppose to be enjoy come past them as it turn into memories.

    .
    Alas, you just left
    me feeling like a
    fool, waiting, and
    wasting my life pinning
    for something that
I never had a claim to.

This stanza brought back memories and made me feel like I relate to it.
    .
The poem is great, I like that you chose to let go.

    Did it make you proud
    to ignore all my messages?"

Girrlllllllll. This write is phenomenal! I wish I would have seen it sooner. It makes my heart hurt because I know what you are referencing here... but you stuck the ending, his loss :)

Maybe its just my emotional state, but i read it as a letter to a disinterested and blase god who ignores all his peoples calls.

    but thats just my opinion.
a brilliant write by the way, love the format

    Well Penned..

This piece to me is why poetry means so much.

Its always helps to get your feelings down onto paper and poetry makes an art form out of it. (which btw is this one)

    full of emotion!
    Loved it!
