In someways writing a lengthy write to drive a message home is more cathartic than inspiring. This haiku, is for me, just the way to go. It concentrates the message of recycling elegantly and will be heard by writers especially due to it's relatability. I like the question, asking nature to comment. Now that would be powerful and I guess we would have a bitter pill to swallow. Still, perhaps that would be better than a world with its head in the sand.
I for one, try not to write on paper, or even print off my work. It remains on a screen and saved on chips.
A good write.

This is brilliant - all you need to say is there. Hard-hitting and actually made me feel guilty. Well done
How well penned and so true!! It really gets me
mad to see some people even kids just write a
few lines, a bit of scribbling and then throw!! I
always tell my kids don't waste paper don't waste
a tree's life. It just goes to show how people take
advantage and take lots of things on earth for
granted...sad that this happens. This Haiku sends
out a strong message loud and clear.
