Touched By An Angel

Just when you think it's over-
nothing left to give,
nothing more to gain,
and the lights of the world turn off,

along comes an angel with her radiant glow,
lighting up a piece of your heart.

Everything felt impossible,
life was feeling black
with a hint of red danger,
and heaven seemed more appealing
than the hell which burned within your mind.

Until along came an angel with her radiant glow,
lighting up a piece of your heart.

Suddenly the world didn't seem so dark,
the impossible felt possible again.
A little sparkle of hope flickered through my eyes-
settling in my soul.

An angel appeared with a glow of hope
and a message to hold on, to stay strong,
for it is not time yet to give up.
