Love the lay out of this one - not your usual style but it works for this piece. "Doomsday write" - back at you, lol. I like this.

Eh, it felt like one that needed to be short, as it certainly wasn't sweet haha. Touché

Such beautiful irony. I love this poem and it's so dark.

Hi, I like this a lot - I mean the more you read it, the more it gives, and the more it gives, the more I want.

Cry me a river, and let me drown in my despair.
    ^
To me this feels like a dare, or on the other hand, a threat! Urging another on to do just this. I love the imagery too - imagine a river full of tears purposefully created to drown another. I also like the metaphor of suicide.

Build me a bridge, from which I may fall and die.
    ^
Here we are a bridge. High on the edge, looking down into the emotional river of tears cried just for you. I mean how could one resist?

Get over it, I was never meant to live forever.
    ^
This line made me laugh. It is like, BAM!! Telling this reader to face the truth smuck - we all have our defined amount of time on this earth. Either, I choose to die today, or when my time naturally comes.

Overall, to me it says, back off and let me lead my life.

    Well done

I will come back and comment on this when I get out of my class this poem is too funny to me, I know it's in "dark" but I seriously have a twisted sense of humor.

Like you said this poem has a twist to it. I loved how it's almost like a person is in pain and just wanting to die; this person literally has nothing to loose from what I've read, it's also telling me that this person has become very bitter to the point it just doesn't see the good in life anymore. The last line got me since that's what I always tell myself after I argue about things that scare me because nobody is meant to live forever.

    Lovely, dark poem 5/5
