Free falling (letting go)

by Dancing Rivers   Jul 22, 2015

At last I'm free, falling apart, but rising up.
I'm leaving this place of ashes and dust.
Tomorrow my life will begin at last.

I like how three lines can convey so much.
    Beautiful job.

A beautiful piece full of hope and new beginnings. Short but says such a lot.

I also love this poem hazel. Ift does say so much in what little the lines hold, your wording is great here as well. Sometimes when we are starting over it is a great thing, because it lets us have the freedom to do whatever we want in life. I like how you kept the readers mind going and guessing about what you are becoming free from . Is this place your home and you are moving out of your home or is it just hopeful thinking. either way this is a very positive poem full of happiness it seems. We fall before we can rise up again. 5/5

Awwww thank you Jamie :) I've been wanting to talk to someone so badly about what's happening but couldn't talk to my friends because they can't know too much or they might get harassed, but I feel like in my poetry I'm letting it all go

Hope comes to us all in the end, I guess! Well written. I love short poems that say so much.
