In my head- out of my mind

by Sarah Day   Jul 25, 2015

Where to start is not quite clear
so many things locked up in here
What is imagined may be real
Depends upon the mood I feel
Reality is mine only I can say
How I see the world today
Fantasy I have come to find
Is quite pleasant in my mind
Why can't I stay here in this space,
my personal comfy hiding place
I find such comfort in my head
No matter what the voices said
So here I sit and greatly ponder
Letting my imagination wonder
Life on earth I have such struggles
but in my head such jolly juggles
Happy thoughts and impossible dreams
make life a joy or so it all seems
no hateful people here can stay
they try to enter but are sent away
for there is no room for yuck or doom
in my secret personal hidden room
