Got to get it out, gotta let it burst.
It starts in my gut and moves to my chest.
Thoughts or feelings, which comes first?

Not a good one, not the right one.
Lover or fighter, does it matter.
You can't let the demons think they've won.

Candle lights flicker,
Frost on the window
And the wind moves by quicker.

Are you really who you think you are?
Part mask, part fake.
Yet everything you reach for is so far.

I'm nothing, nobody. Just pain.
Wish, wish, wish it away.
but isn't that what you want? To die in vain?

Can't find the truth, who are you now?
Stitch the wounds, suck out the poison.
All this sickness you hold, it's foul.

Let's find the right path, don't let the darkness stay.
but how can you when you don't know
I don't know but I'll find a way.

Erm... ima tad confused, this piece was brilliantly written with many powerful portions, yet the threads were sort of like holey lace, didnt really have a solid connection, there was a connection, but it was a tad lacey, but bare in mind that lace is beautiful as was this poem ;)

Excellent, powerful write. "You can't let the demons think they've won" - superb line - I'll take that one with me.
