Circular life

by Dancing Rivers   Jul 28, 2015

Round and round and around,
life is like a kiddies play-ground.
Merry-go-rides, set aside,
we silly mortals repeat times behind.

See-saw, we came to see,
we saw it all, its back to reality.
Back to hunting for life,
mating with wives.

Dont forget the offspring,
you no longer need be bound by a ring.
School-school is a fun game to play,
unless you've school fees you need to pay.

Would you like to have a tea-party?
Heavens above don't invite Marty,
of social standing, he's not got enough.
Perhaps another, we shall see.

Oh! Let's play pretend!
It's a game that never ends.
Now don't let Suzie know,
you can see through her pitiful show!

Darling welcome to society,
where nothing is guarunteed.
It's the circle of life,
that causes so much strife.

I like this one. it has a sense of humor. The message is clear and in simple language. The wording felt right, the rhyme was in balance.

Great piece with enough lessons to be learnt.
