Mirror's Edge:

by Scott Cole   Jul 30, 2015

All around the outside edges
Those edges of the mirror,
I see my whole self image
Just a little bit more clearer.

I now know the way I look
To myself and to the World,
Things are looking brighter
For their no longer blurred.

Cause if I'm happy with things
I feel much better about myself,
So thank you ole little mirror
Yes thanks for all of your help.

You gave me a great idea
Of the man that I really am,
You gave my life dimension
Through each grain of sand.

For the mirror is your friend
And it will never lie to you,
But sometimes what you see
Leaves you looking like a fool.

It's all just some mind thing
Nothing to do with your eyes,
If the mighty mind is pleased
Then yes everything is fine.

I think we always see ourselves better when we are in a better mood. I enjoyed the read. The flow of the poem is really smooth
