Broken Egg Shell

by Baby Rainbow   Aug 2, 2015

I am not a broken egg shell
that you need to try and fix;
I don't think I will ever be fixed.

So please stop waiting
for this person to emerge
that you think is hiding inside of me -
because you will only be disappointed.

If you can't love me when I am broken,
what makes you think you will love me
when I am "fixed"?

    That ending stanza is the truth! To be honest I find this to be the problem in many relationships where people love too soon , either they are not healed from something or the other isn't and we try fixing it. It never is a good match.

    Humans have to focus on getting themselves to a happy place in life so we don't bring that into relationships and friendships, we must choose not to remain this way forever, we must find strength in something.

    Your sad writes make me sad babe , but I'm glad you're releasing!

    The last three lines of this are superb - and very true.
