Done and dusted

by Dancing Rivers   Aug 2, 2015

I'm finished and done!
All my plans have been dusted.
This is the end of one,
chapter I've not twisted.

I'm closing these ragged pages;
putting this stale tale away.
For someone to read in many ages-
to come- I wonder what they'll say?

Never mind, this book is written.
I'll chew the words as though I'm smitten.

Lord knows it's all I can do.

*this is more of a jotting down of thoughts than an act of literarature being artfully twisted.

And artificially twisted I see you are very good at girl.

Man I've been loving your poetry lately.
Interesting to think about though really. Imagine if our poetry or books were found years later, what would people say? It almost makes me more aware of my words, leave them something that brings hope, help the, to relate, give future readers of our lost poetry something to chew on as well.

Hmm you may have sparked an idea in me.

      HEHE thank you :)

mmm I've often thought about that, how our words in a way immortalize us, like Ann Franks diaries, It gives such a personal insight not just into the person in a mental and emotional sense, but also their very souls.

Oh? I cant wait to see what you have

Good flow and idea - I've had the same kind of thoughts myself, frequently!
