    You certainly know how to tell it how it is....that hasn't changed! I think it has been proven that, a child who suffers as you describe here generally goes on to a life of crime. I think most religious institutions of that time were nothing more than torture chambers for the young children who were placed in their care. Scandalous without a doubt.
