Again and Again

by Yrene   Aug 4, 2015

The thing about love is, there are no rules.
No exception for anyone. You can be the best lover, as good as you can be but you can still have your heart broken. She can leave you bleeding, pleading. When she does break your heart, it doesn't necessarily mean that you were a bad lover. No matter what prayer you make, there's just no immunity to a heartbreak. It makes it even more exciting because you still choose to proceed, wearing your heart on your sleeve, you still plunge in against all odds. It is something as easy and as complicated as that. The human heart is bound to fall in love, at one time or another, a few times or even a hundred times over. It's encoded in our DNA, to get hurt and then to get up so we can start loving again, and again.

    Hello,

a most insightful write. It is true there are no rules in love - mores the pity! If there were I would have bought the book years ago. The question is this: If such a book is out there, I mean one that works! Would we still make the same mistakes? I believe we would. Why you may ask? Well, the trouble be life lessons, especially lessons of the heart, they need to be learnt the hard way. Even then, there is no guarantee that love will be a success. The falling in love is the easy part, the tough bit is making it work, finding love with another before time runs out. Tick tock.

Thank you for such an inspiring write.

    Take care,

    Michael
