Finding Neverland

by N3MO   Aug 6, 2015

Weeping into sleeping.
Grasping for a memory,
A hint,
A glint,
A strand,
A glimpse of Neverland.
But alas,
Like a scentless gas;
A wisp of smoke;
A secret, never to be spoke.
I search, but never find.
I seek, but always blind.
Where can it be?
When will I see
The destiny I had planned,
Of finding Neverland?
Must I become Peter Pan
Before I can
Be freed from my earthly shackle?
This heep of bones that creek and crackle.
How much suffering will suffice?
At what cost? At what price?
How long must I keep going on
When all glimmers of hope have gone?
I am willing to do as you command.
Just please, release me into Neverland.
