Reincarnation

by DarkLight   Aug 9, 2015

Drowning from self loathing,
I tear-down my heart piece by piece
to reassure myself nothing of your dirty games is left clotting.
Sat at the porch to wish the sun a good night
letting go all the pain and anger
Tomorrow is another day.
New me
New beginnings.
Reincarnation of my goodness.

Oh wow, can't say I expected that ending.

I really enjoyed this! Every day is a new beginning and us humans have a terrible recollection of that.

Loved the telling the sun goodnight bit too!

This a feeling I know too well...in both the broken heart as well as picking up the pieces daily.

Short but powerful. I agree with Ben about the line "nothing of your dirty games is left clotting". Jealously wishing I had thought of it :)
