Preserve my body

by Postguied Parnell   Aug 9, 2015

Preserve my body, reserve my follies for the next life.
Either I'll ride a trolley, or I'll write my holly hallelujahs.
What's it to ya?
So preserve my body, I'll reserve my place amongst fate.
The dying corpses, I'll watch you as I wait.
And this life... or the next life... we'll all just intertwine.
And in this life I'll watch you, do silly things on vine.
Do tiny changes to the earth.
Cause the worst is washing down your worth.
And in this life, or the next life, we'll all just get along.
And in this life I'll just write a song.
Hallelujah.

    Hello,

an interesting write. It made me laugh in places, like 'I'll ride a trolley' and '...do silly things on vine' sounds like some monkeying around! :O)

Nice rhyme and content which kept my interest - Hallelujah!

    Take care,

    Michael
