Dirt

by Maple Tree   Aug 10, 2015

I am dirt, just a dirty girl....

That's what I said to a spiritual
Being such as myself.

We flourish from different sides of
The spiritual realm, and yet we love
Each other the same.

We are both dirty,
She with sin and I with soil.

My leaflets are purified from
Light of moon and warmth of sun....

She breathes the grace and love of God.

We are beauty, one in the same,
Our differences make us beautiful.

Ugliness stems from ignorance,
We may be dirty, but discrimination
Is the root of all evil.

I love my Christian sister as she loves her wiccan friend.

Nothing more to say....

Dedicated to Chelsey, I love you

Yes, while I think it amounts to the same thing (peace) I actually believe that rather than accept we are all the same, we should accept that we are all different and celebrate such differences. What a lovely, lovely little poem.

    Hello,

In a perfect world we would accept our fellow brother sister no matter what. Sadly, this world has much to learn to become one world and recognise that we are all the same and to fight is to kill ourselves.

Here you shine out a beacon of hope and lead the way. Bang the drums, lets walk together and follow the light.

Take care, both, all of you - everyone!
