My brother

by Carla Benser   Aug 10, 2015

My brother is always there for through the best and hardest of times. Growing up was not easy, I could always count on my brother. He helped our mom take care of me and he watched over me as we were growing up. I may have been the baby of the family, but my brother never treated me like I was a baby. He taught me how to play basketball, baseball, and football. Since my dad was not always there for me when I was growing up. I turned to my brother to teach me how to be strong and stand up for myself. If I got knocked down in life, my brother was there to help me pick up the pieces. The hardest part of my life was when I lost my daughter Alyssa. When my heart was broken and hurting all I can remember is seeing my brother by my side. Now he is not only there for me, he is there for his nephews. I am glad that my sons have the best uncle in the world. I am proud to have the brother that I do, because I do not know what my life would be like without him. We may not have gotten along very well growing up, but I know now that all my brother was doing just protecting me and for that I thank him.

I live you big bro
