about society
This nation we call home use to be safe and quiet. We could let our children go outside to play without the feeling of being scared or worried that they will vanish from our sight. We the citizens have never been the kind to judge a person by their uniqueness. Over the years our society has changed drastically from being peaceful to the terrible crime and violence we see and hear everyday. We can not turn on the news these days without seeing that a child is missing or someone has been killed. We as a nation need to get involved and work together to do our best to clean up the crime and violence that has taken over the streets. That is when we start to reach out and pull others out of harms way. While more soldiers go unspoken for in fury of the war. We can hear ourselves saying if we stand together we can change this world before it starts to change us. We all need to believe that love and mercy still exist. Hatred started to rage when the war began and it will not stop till the war ends. As long as we hold on then hope is never really gone. |

An excellent piece of prose, articulate and poignant. Important piece. Well done. |
