Glad I decided to take a look at this. Although it is likely that I am interpreting this the wrong way, I perceived this poem as an intense whirlwind of imagery, sound, and contemplation (Kissing moons, Trembling muscles, Understanding life ... death.)
After reading the poem, I realized that the last line resonated with the way I felt after viewing 'Apocalypse'. I felt tired, weak. But, most of all, I felt exhilaration.
    Excellent write.

'You wonder afterwards / about breathing beyond'

My absolute favorite line. I also love the use of parentheses at the end, almost an afterthought but also in a sense the culmination.
