The Edge of the Darkness

by Rob   Aug 18, 2015

She seeks shadowed delusions in the forest,
She is crying and the tears stain her clothes,
Hope now an irrelevant contemplation,
For soon her red body fluids will flow...

The forest breeds spirits of darkness,
It is an aesthetic place for serenity to die,
Memorializing her soul to infinity,
In an intricate conundrum of the evil in the skies...

Seek not the dreams of the weary at heart,
But those that are already dead,
For their souls will live on eternally,
His fabrications were deep in his head...

He lied and then left me there standing,
With a cold stare without speaking a word,
Hate such powerful emotion,
And now everything in my life is a blur...

Turn off the lights and close the door,
Especially the entrance to your soul,
As morbid darkness closes in on its prey,
The Ferries are about to become known...

The nocturnal creatures emerge from the trees,
Where they descend to seal her fate,
Taken by force she can feel the pain,
Death becomes those who failed to wait...

Her screams appease the wicked spirits,
It is an encounter that few ever survive,
The illusions of all her lost cares and her dreams,
And like her, the dreams are no longer alive...

Demons lurk in every dark corner,
And in the forest these demons can fly,
The demons are guiding the Ferries,
As they begin their return to the sky's...

A catastrophic end to the dreams she once had,
It is an excruciating and painful demise,
There was a beckoning call from the dark spirits,
And that is where she sat and she died...

It is right on the edge of the darkness,
Where her memory was cast out in stone,
The is nothing to fear in the darkness,
And the demons have now called her back home...
