The final Catch, Fading Fishermen (Senryu String)

by Maple Tree   Aug 19, 2015

He baits his thoughts
Upon a hook of deep words
Death bites at sunset.

His poetry shines
After his soul reunites
With the fish below.

I love how easily this tells it's story and grasps the readers at all the perfect times. The title is definitely unique - you're so great with titles I'm kind of jealous :)

And your ability of making such simple pieces purely stunning is excellent. Another touchingly phenomenal write.

Ugh the metaphors here are deep and the meaning of the poem is also deep. We all have sadness and darkness within our souls and heart. That is what poetry is all about, the releasing of feelings and emotions onto paper. This is such a beautiful poem
