Reconstructing Me

by Baby Rainbow   Aug 19, 2015

I remember thinking
it would take me forever to get over you,
because you had pinned me down between fears,
and I was still letting my weaker days
hold me hostage in the
institution of my mind.

You ran over me with your wheels of terror-
leaving tyre tracks on my skin
from memories of your lies;
making sure you kissed your signature
on every line.

But your hopes were set too high,
because I am looking into breaking free of you,
reconstructing myself to be stronger
and braver than you ever thought I could be.

There is nothing more that you can do to me!

I like the whole piece, the title itself is attractive. The lay out is amazing.... nively worded. The concept and the idea is TRUE and with impact to anyone who wish to reconstruct his/her life.
    I love it.

I like the powerful voice in this piece, and how the title really catches the eye.

    Great job :)
