There is sadness within a heart when we feel like we are losing something or someone we love. This holds an emotional tie to someone and in that feeling you know what it is like to be alone it seems. I love how this seems to be a personal touch.

It's terrifying to have someone who you want to make such a change for. The idea of giving everything and hoping to be accepted entirely for what you are, and have that person return the feelings is the scariest thing. But at the same time, loneliness is just as scary...

There is so much longing within this poem.
The longing to be accepted.
The longing for a sense of commitment.
The longing for that person to open up to you.
I like how raw it is, and also how you've worded it.

Hope my method of commenting is okay, I am new to this site and briefly gazed over the rules and such. I also felt a tad hesitant to comment on something so sad and seemingly personal. Sorry if it was too much. I enjoyed your work though. ^^
