Thus, I awoke

by Everlasting   Aug 20, 2015

In dreams, I wandered lost
Like dogs without a home
Just sniffing through the world
For food to fill this void
that feels my starving soul.

I searched and searched around
Too often eating trash
Until I found a home
That dined on love at nights

But never did I have a meal
That made me satisfied
I always craved for peace
yet none could cook that dish
I had to flee my dreams
to go in search of it.
