God's Little Girl (Short Story)

Long ago there used to this beautiful angel who, God had blessed her with sweet innocence, claiming her as His little girl. Never was she to know what the mortal emotion called "love" was for although, He had created the Heavens and the Earth, even he could admit that he had messed up now and again.

As the centuries passed on by, the little angel girl saw beautiful souls come and go and would always wonder why a woman would cry with a broken heart since she herself knew nothing of that emotional pain.

Going to her Heavenly father, she asked Him why did women have broken hearts. He placed her on His lap and gently started to explain why sometimes souls would come to heaven with a heavy heart.

"My darling Celestial kitten, women have had a hard life and sometimes the scars that stitches itself on their souls make their life stories worth telling. See lots of women and men have had their hearts broken and when that happens they go through their ups and downs yet they accept their pain and they can move on from that and be fighters for their futures instead of being just battered beings."

Celestial then thought those words inside her head and then asked, "Then why can't we heal them Father? They must go through a pain that is unique to each and every last one of them."

"We can only assist them in healing kitten, we help but we can't dictate their free will that's unfair. If their loved ones are here in Heaven then we help them heal until they can come to Heaven otherwise we can only watch and observe. Sometimes it's better for them to go through the wrong so that they can finally get to the right." He responded back.

"I guess Father, I just want them to heal and be like me, for them to see the beauty that I see in every sunrise and every night. Humanity is blessed with families that love them whether it's a natural born one or one adopted from their hearts. They are so blessed. I think the expression to be used here is A blessing inside a curse", that's what they have.'"

With that both God and His little girl watched the twilight approach the sky and smiled for they held hope that humanity would eventually find a way to fix their broken lives and make them worth living.

    Hello Moria.

This is search a beautiful piece, very encouraging and upstanding.
I like the tale, and the whole idea of women and broken hearts.

The first line, i guess it should read, "Long ago there used to be....."

    If that's right,
I like the use of words, the phrases used are gentle and amazing.

Good work. Keep up the spirit.
