Underground

by Baby Rainbow   Aug 24, 2015

I told you my deepest secret
in hope it would keep us together,
but further apart it drove us.

Nothing stops these lonely tears from falling,
because you promised to love me
until all the stars stopped shining,
but since your sudden leave of absence,
the stars have all burned out...

why baby, why, why, why?

Nothing hurts like letting go,
so I will let this medication take over
in hope that I will feel no pain,
because I am going underground
without you baby,

and that is such a lonely place to die.

Another deep and powerful write. People are who they are and they will hurt us or we hurt them. Nevertheless at the end it makes us much stronger and we learn from it. Letting go is very difficult but it will give a us a sense of freedom. We can do bad by ourselves. Medication and I know all about it may ease the pain but it does not solve the problem.
