Runaway Survivor

by Baby Rainbow   Aug 24, 2015

I survived hell
in a world that can't stop;
talking,
judging,
blaming,
taking,
demanding
and misunderstanding!

Please excuse my sloppy writing,
for again it focuses on everything
that has been taken away from me,
letting it overpower
anything good in my life.

But there are just some things
my heart can't express without ink.

I'm running away,
even though I have nothing left to hide from -
it is the only way I have learned how to survive.

And there is nothing more I want
than for those of you I love
to search your hearts
when you find me gone,
and know that I
will always love you,
as I shine down on you
from the midnight sky.

This genuinely moved me Saffie. The idea of simply not being able to stop running because it's all you know how to do. I guess being scared and running can take over.
The final stanza is both sad, and beautiful all at once. Will nominate when my votes are recharged!
