Two If By Water:

by Scott Cole   Aug 27, 2015

A mighty ripple of water
Raises up her dormant head,
From deep beneath the surface
Her majestic beauty spreads.

Her tranquility and serenity
Fascinate all weary minds,
And add a touch of lust
To every watching eye.

As she takes her daily swim
Her perspiration is candent,
And her emitted reflections
Pay tribute to her ascent.

There's not a spare breathe
Or a single dry eye,
She leaves you speechless
With the height of her size.

The speed of her travels
Move at a constant pace,
With a effortless motion
Full of elegance and grace.

Her undulating swells
Become swollen and expand,
And make a splashing sound
When they hit the calming sands.

As she reaches her destination
Those barriers of the shore,
She vanishes into the sediment
That covers the vast Ocean floor.

Brilliant - your nature pieces are vivid and full of imagery. Good rhythm to this piece too.
