You Deserve Each Other

by Baby Rainbow   Aug 28, 2015

How dare you accuse me
of trying to destroy something
that has always been broken from the start!

He has injected you with so much poison
that you refused to even see
the fear in the night that went on
right under your blindfolded eyes!

You say you're sorry,
but if I hear that word again from you
I'd only know you lied again,
and my truth will always be bigger than your lies.

This is my heart you are trying to break,
but you will not win,
because the moment you decided
to pick him over me,
I erased you from my life.

Neither of you can ever hurt me again,
and it is not my fault
that you are both falling apart at the seams.

I relate to this on a very personal level with me and a girl from the past. Very good write. I myself have a piece in kinda the same the vein. The likes I'll publish soon from my new sypher of poems and lyrics. I sympathize heavily with this work. Very simple and I could feel the emotion with every line
