My Love

by Karla   Sep 1, 2015

My love
left me blind,
ate my heart
dropped me behind.

my love
peeled off my skin,
took me me to hell
where i've always been.

my love
killed me fast,
telling me things
i've never asked.

my love
loved me as he could,
making me bad
as if he was doing good.

my love,
wrapped me up in pain,
crowned with doubts,
thorns and rain.

my love
hurt me with lovely care,
putting dead carnations
in my entangled black hair.

my love
beheaded my nights and days,
cut my hands and feet
to walk his ways.

my love
is just a crooked king,
a crippled god
always ready to sting.

forgive the beast in him,
the poison in his kiss
because he still is
the shame i most miss.

It is interesting how the phrase "My Love", at first, is thought to be just an emotion, but then it is put into corporal form. With just a nice touch of raw emotion...I like it.
