Spiral

by Rusheena   Sep 1, 2015

The secrets in our treasure chest
have been exposed,
and we despise the light
that shines on them.
Our family ties are severed,
yet we spiral together,
spinning and twisting
each other's loyalty
until it shatters.
We will all die hiding our sins
from each other,
never telling a soul,
until we have no choice
but to form a prism,
showing our true colors
to the world.
