The Map was my fault.

by Postguied Parnell   Sep 3, 2015

Your love was the shins and forgotten feelings.
My love was torn in illegitimate dealings.
And you know that robots sympathize.
Something about the green in your eyes.
Whisking my cares out the window.
Then bringing them back, little by little.
Royalty is overrated.
Angels are just fated to be extra weight on our shoulders.
At arms length between the cup holders.
For just one change of fate.
I wouldn't have been late
to that one thing.
I got nothing left but to hear her sing.
Glory glory in the highest.
Believe me, you were the brightest...
Star that I ever did see.
I like the shins, believe you, me.
