Alive

What is it to be alive?
Is living the abscence of death,
or it's polar opposite?
Einstein once said that we know things,
because of a little seed called faith.

If faith is small as a mustard seed,
what if the seed wilts?
Will we continue to grow,
or simply seaze to be?

What if we are simply figments of
the thoughts of a mighty king?
Or the sketch of some creator,
is death simply a covering of God's canvas?

Perhaps we face loss, because HE,
has changed HIS mind, and wants to emphasize other areas?

Are desserts and autumn days,
God's inspirational joy on display?
Is depression God simply attempting to create a work in monochrome?

I suppose these are silly thoughts to ponder.

Yet still...
