Weaponry.

by Poet on the Piano   Sep 13, 2015

If looks could kill then I'd hold
the key to resurrecting.

I'd be born again.
Into the dawn, outside of you.

I don't have that power though, I can't
condemn you for not loving me.

As often as I've wanted to haunt
your dreams -invade your sense of security,
your studious oblivion - you cannot be touched.

I could try to murder you with
my eyes, but I'd just be left
more blind than before...

Maryanne I love what you did with the expression if looks can kill. That itself was killer!!

If only we had certain powers to help demonstrate our emotions, or kill someone you evil girl you...I kid I kid.

This word play here and that the shortness of tone is great here.
