Cold hearted monster

by Schrodingers cat   Sep 15, 2015

Down the lane as i gaze at my own thoughts,
how can life be so mundane?
Red, yellow, green stare at my not so happy face
I stand numb and the hear the honks rage.
Walking across the pavement, crumbling the withered leaves,
how withered one's life is?
While i battle with the demons in my mind
Feeling the rush of warm tears streaming through my eyes,
Murky world, murky deeds,
Not one seem to be kind.
Yes, you may call me a cold hearted monster,
But i will always be that girl you once knew.
