A Stranger's Love

by Baby Rainbow   Sep 15, 2015

A stranger's love came in slowly,
the day an angel came down and spoke to me.

I used to be afraid
of letting down my guard,
yet I did with you
from the moment you smiled at me.

It's like you had an inner view
of the battle I fight with myself,
and came down to rescue me
before I died inside myself.

And even when you say nothing at all,
you still give me reasons to remain strong.

Yes, sometimes it doesn't matter how we guard our hearts, there's that one person who can sneak in and steal it, before you even know what's happened! They just seem to know what to do and say at the right times and make not loving them impossible!
"....Of the battle I fight with myself, and came down to rescue me before I died inside myself". - excellent.
    All the best, Saffie.
