Plagued

by Dancing Rivers   Sep 22, 2015

I am plagued by inccessant thoughts
of your leonine eyes.
Plagued by your primal laughter,
deep, gutteral and joyous.

I am plagued by the memory
of your scent intoxicating me.
Plagued by your curled hair,
I so desire to caress.

I am plagued my dear,
by sentimental longing
to hear your smooth voice
see your cocky smile.

Cure me of this ailment!
Still my aching desire,
show me I am yours,
declare that you are mine.

Drench me in memories
to be made in future,
drown me in your loving arms
still my silent cries
to be with you forevermore.

My love I wish to soar with you,
will you be my radiant wings?
I wish to rejoice in time with you
will you be the song my heart sings?

Dear one go with me,
let us travel through unknown paths
and dwell in unseen hearths,
let us dance in ethereal rain.

Surely our joy shall kill this plague.
