Oblivion

by Sarah Hewlett   Sep 22, 2015

But she never knew what she meant to him,
She never knew how he dreamt of her every night,
How he would imagine them having a chance together,
But immediately erase the idea from his mind.

Because she would never feel the same way,
She couldn't could she?
Not a gorgeous girl like her,
With a lower class boy like him.

But there were some things he didn't know.

He never knew what he meant to her,
He never knew how she dreamt of him every night,
How she would imagine them having a chance together,
But would immediately erase the idea from her mind.

Because she thought he would never feel the same way,
Because he couldn't could he?
Not a handsome boy like him,
With a self-conscious girl like her.

You see, everybody relies on fate to bring people together,
But the truth is fate doesn't exist,
And so everyone is waiting for the other person to make the first move,
When their relationship could have already began.

And after all, everyone wants happiness,
But you can't live in fear,
Of hate and rejection,
And receiving no affection.

    Hi There,

this is a wonderful write with a great msg, one i have to admit i agree with, a friend of mine once had a "status" on there profile on here and it read " Love is a verb and i'm waiting for you to move" this kinda reminded me of that.

Your control over your vocab and the format of this write is excellent, great job and welcome to PnQ
