Its twilight time!

Its twilight time!

At the end of the day, all your troubles start to
fade away.
As we clink our wine glasses the Barbie starts to flame.
The mist on the grass glistens in its final beauty knowing
that its power will not last the hour.

Soon the sunlight we adore will hide and recede as the outgoing Tide.
But in the evening shadows it's a pleasure,
munching on those appetizers with my better side.

Now the twilight has said its goodbye for today but the meadowlark's sweet song assures us that the twilight won't be gone for too long.

As we light the candles to dispel the dark, she smiles and asks; did you hear the Lark?

These are the times that are like a sponge that soak up the cares of the day.
Many look for this solitude with its enchantment that seduces us into a romantic mood.

At work, you keep an eye on the clock on the wall which never does seem to move at all but it jumps hours at a time when home just to be mean.

When the day of your labor has ended, twilight lies just beyond the Bay, I will make a stop at the shop for a bottle of bubby and when she opens the door I will say; "Hey"

We will sit on the patio as the Sun gives us its final kiss and we sigh, its twilight and its final goodbye.
