Toxic Love

by No1ButMe   Sep 26, 2015

Mysterious and alluring
Seductive and strange
Look deep into my eyes
Watch how they change
Long black eyelashes
Crimson puckered lips
Hand over your heart
Listen as it rips
A little diamond nose stud
Shoulder length brunette hair
A slight smile appears
Oh, boy you should've stayed over there
Bat my eyes
Chip your wall
Can't be lethal
I'm to small
Sincere smile
Tap my manicured nails
A slight southern laugh
And it never fails
Lower my head
As a lock falls out of place
Bring your hand up
To get it out of my face
I look up to notice
You're wearing that goofy grin
Now I know for sure
You have let me in
That was your first mistake
To fall for what you see
Because a pretty face
That's all it could be
Like a fish on a hook
I start to reel you in
Now that you're here
Let the torture begin
Play with your mind
Consume your soul
Chew up your heart
And leave one big hole
Twist up your emotions
Sting your eyes
Tell you I'll be there
Comfort comes with lies
Build you up
Just to tear you down
Devour your life
But never be around
Make you fall deeper
Seal it with a kiss
Boy, didn't you know
My love is a virus...

Wow - a woman with bite, a temptress not to mess with.

I liked this poem from you. It has depth and a wicked darkness that creates a spell.

    Well done.
