Passionate Poetess

by Michael D Nalley   Sep 26, 2015

She looks like a nun in habit clothed
far from the mortal sins often loathed
in this wicked world widely traveled
she stays pure as it is unraveled
suffering pilgrimages untold

    Hello Michael,

this was a fun challenge and although I struggled you have excelled. The ending words hinge the piece about goodness being mocked, scorned for having values that this wicked world sadly can only envy, albeit in the dark quiet hours.

    Take care,

    Michael
