Psychological Projection

I have come to believe psychological projection
is a coping mechanism for any protection
of the weak and proud who cannot bear the burden of sin
have no savior and are uncomfortable in their skin
need a proverbial scapegoat to lead to the desert
in their mind and have not the humility to convert
