Confession

by Dancing Rivers   Oct 4, 2015

Such a bone-chilling word
...confession...
A simple crystal shard trailing
viciously down your spine
...obssession...
A word insinuating so much
psychopathy...
What fear that envokes.
Who is this fiend?
The one who seduces villains
and intoxicates the innocent
softly she smiles
with a subtle glance
you're a defiled,
vixen bitten,
fear ridden,
soul-less
beastial
remainder of a man
insecure in love
scorched
ashen
dead
...

    Hello Hazel,

as Ben says, this is well written and creatively set out to single out certain words. This gives them more emphasis and creates a thumping beat through the poem. I like the anger, it spits out venomous words of scorn.

    Well done.

    Take care,

    Michael

Oh dear, Hazel; things really aren't good at the moment are they? Another angry poem, full of resentment and dare I say hate?
But - as always - very well written and really pleasingly laid out,
Well done and all the best,
    Ben
