Sunrise And Sunset

by Kaytrien   Oct 4, 2015

When you look at the horizon, with someone who loves and cares, it changes the time and moment, whether it is here or there. You look at that line, that stays in one place, then the sun will go down, at a very slow pace. As you smile and laugh as the jokes soon all fade, and the fun that was created, and the joy that was then made. I love that warm smile, that he gives me each day, I love those 3 words that he loves to say. " I love you" is why i'm here today, he kept me going, and here I want to stay.
But today is the day, where we say our goodbyes, I hug his waist, and start to cry. I know he'll miss me too, as we finally depart, but he then whispers in my ear, " this is a brand new start." I don't know what he means, but i'm sure that he is right. the sun has now gone down, and the moon shows that it's night. The only thing I see, is the moon that's shining bright, we never really fought, or had a great big fight. I love him more then you'll ever know, he keeps me happy when I'm low. I here and now hug him, for the very last time, I'll love him forever, he is always mine. Sunrise will come, in about 12 hours, and the sunset is gone, at the bottom of the towers. Sunrise, Sunset. Sunrise, Sunset.

What a wonderful poem with a really good flow and honestly written. The only thing I might suggest would be to lay it out in proper stanzas - it would make it more pleasing to the eye and more inviting.
Otherwise, this is great. Well done and all the best,
    Ben
