Season's Change

by ilgrl   Oct 8, 2015

Autums bright and falling leaves
Soon the snowy flakes you'll see

Now It's time for nature's rest
As winter puts us to the test

Cold and gloomy months ahead
As Cabin fever sure will spread

Winter holds it's icy grip
As temperatures they'll surly dip

Months and months of snow will fall
Until we see the winters thaw

Shinning bright up in the sky
As the sun opens its sleepy eyes

As mother nature slowly wakes
From it's wintery sleepy state

Time has come
For spring has sprung

Summer fun will surely come

Lighting bugs and fireworks
Schools out means no more books

But soon the air will chill again
And winter will start all over again

A very good rhythm and flow here - really well done. I love the line "spring has sprung."
Well done and all the best,
