My lost friend

I walked down the valley and above the hill
in search of my friend
but can't get him still.

I was alone in hard days
and can't even find my ways,
i sailed through river and stream
but can't get him still.

I was crying without my friend
but not shying with empty hands,
i was in lurch and prayed in church.

I asked the trees and many leavs,
the address of my friend,
i am not alone
but lonely
without him, my friend is lost
please find him.
