Such Beauty

by donna   Oct 14, 2015

So much beauty to admire,
when You look around.
An elegant Weeping Willow,
with leaf filled branches hanging down...

Flowers of many colours,
sizes, shapes and smells.
From a lonely little snowdrop,
to a field of bluebells...

A sky of pretty blue,
grass of all the shades of green.
Rivers and waterfalls flowing,
the most glorious sights, ever seen...

Birds singing in the tree tops,
a bunny hopping by.
Such wonderous things imaginable,
the sweetest known to I...

Each and every image.
Each and every sound.
The sweetest songs to hear,
the best art, ever to be found...

To enjoy the wonder of nature,
You must open Your eyes, Your ears, Your mind.
You might even just surprise Yourself,
at the peace and calm You find.

I love the imagery in this poem , but t the uppercase Y most of all made me feel more a part of nature, the focus being on the EYE did not make my other senses a bit envious . 5>>>>>>>

After reading your poem "War", this serves as a lovely antidote. Lovely images conjured here and a reminder that there really is beauty in the world.
Well done and all the best,
    Ben
