My Daily Prayer

by Bob Shank   Oct 19, 2015

My Daily Prayer

As I kneel on worn knees
daily I beg you, please
rid the poor of poverty
help the blind be able to see

protect the children as they play
give them hope for a brighter day
put an end to tragic wars
heal the sick and all their sores

allow us to love, instead of hate
your guidance is needed to relate
help us to understand one another
the true meaning behind love thy brother

bring back the smiles of friendly faces
the courage to believe in heavenly places
return the compassion of those who care
this is my daily prayer............Amen

Bob you truly are an inspiration and a heat honour to have on this site although I haven't been back on this site for long I remember you from back in the day.
If only things were this simple, may you be blessed.
