Motionless Morose

There are few songs that have resonated with me throughout my life
They always conjure up certain feelings of melancholy

Transient times of my youth where I've missed a certain person

It was as if they tainted that song with their absence and sealed it with my despair

More than a decade has elapsed and I just noticed that I don't even remember his smell

Will it be like that with you too?

I do not believe in gods and I do not believe in heavens but by god I have spent all night praying to goddesses to rid me of my love for you

May that day come soon

    This line resonated with me and many others as well, I am sure. Songs which tell of our own feelings and we can cry and hurt along with them...
